Lattafa Asad Zanzibar is a 2024 aromatic spicy EDP by perfumer Fanny Bal — a tropical-island take on the Asad line that trades the original's dark, gourmand heaviness for something airier and more adventurous. It opens with lavender and black pepper, a cool aromatic-spice pairing that's crisp and immediately masculine without being sharp. The heart of coconut water, iris, and salt is the most distinctive phase — the coconut water adding a light, tropical creaminess while the salt and iris keep it clean, slightly powdery, and genuinely unique for a men's EDP. The base of vanilla and incense closes warm and smooth, a soft resinous sweetness that grounds the whole composition and gives it real staying power.
